WINDOW HERB KIT INSTRUCTIONS



Step 1

Remove seeds from kit and turn peat pod "hole" side up in the bag.
Step 2

Add a an ounce of water at a time to the bag. Seal to prevent spilling and leave it for a few minutes.
Step 3

Watch your peat pod expand! Pour out any excess water and ensure the peat pod is standing up in the bag.



Step 4

Gently push open the peat pod and drop the basil seeds in. Don't push them down too far!

Cover them up gently with the surrounding peat.
Step 5
​
Leave a small part of the zip top open and place in a warm spot (ex. top of fridge) for a few days.
Once you see "green" move to the window sill. You can add water if the peat looks dry.
Step 6
​
Once the the second set of leave (or true leaves) have formed you can pull down the sides of the bag.
​
Transplant to a pot of potting mix and keep in your sill or move outside.
